Oh my, where do I begin when it comes to Katie and Pete’s fall wedding at Ocean House??!!! First of all, totally adorable couple. I knew we would hit it off right away!
There were some changes along the way, but I think the color scheme of orange and blue prevailed. Katie wanted to incorporate bright colors as opposed to autumnal colors more popular at this time of year. They also wanted accents of the beach tied into the wedding without going overboard. It was after all, at the amazing Ocean House in beautiful Watch Hill!
They got married across the street at the charming Watch Hill chapel and walked right on over to their reception. The day was gorgeous aside from the intense wind, courtesy of our hurricane warnings that weekend!
Katie loves dahlias so we used plenty of orange dahlias as well as the Cafe au lait dahlia in her bouquet. She also loves texture so we used brunia berries, dusty miller, and blue thistle throughout.
I loved how the maid’s bouquets turned out~ pale blues with pops of bright orange wrapped in navy and white ribbon. Fun yet classic!
The reception tables had trios of cobalt vases each with a single flower arrangement. In addition to the rounds, there were 2 long rows of tables where we did lanterns, vases of single flower arrangements, floating candles, shells and sea glass the entire length of the tables. Love that style so much!
Here is just a sampling of the gorgeous images from the ladies at Snap! photography~ go to their blog to see more of Katie and Pete’s beautiful wedding!

This image is truly picture perfect! Beautiful bride!

There were hundreds of pumpkins on the steps of OH!

Just married!

Pails, shells, and sea glass adorned the place card table

Lots of candlelight for the room.

Sipping on their signature drink~ A Bright and Sunny, as opposed to a Dark and Stormy!

Enjoying the view from Ocean House.

Congratulations Katie and Pete! I had a great time getting to know you.
Wishing you a very happy life together.
