Well, if you haven’t already taken a peek over at Style Me Pretty today, I suggest you do so now! They are featuring one of our absolute favorite weddings of the 2010 season!
Erin was such a creative and enthusiastic bride that she decided to blog about it. Her adorable blog is called, Sparkle and Hay, and the name is exactly what Erin was trying to convey for her wedding vision.
We worked with Ms. Sarah True on this one, and together, we brought Erin’s vision of rustic, French chic to life. Erin’s flower palette consisted of tons of peach Juliette garden roses, Cafe au Lait dahlias, fresh lavender, Baby’s Breath, moss, scabiosa, spray roses, herbs, Queen Anne’s lace, succulents and so much more!
Her bouquet had shades of peach along with grey accents, while her maid’s carried mostly grey, green and white flowers. We added a vintage brooch to Erin’s bouquet for a touch of sparkle!
Erin’s ceremony flowers were little terra cotta pots wrapped in twine and filled with various herbs, lavender and spray roses. They were brought over to Saltwater Farm for the cocktail tables afterward. We also made initial wreaths out of spanish moss for the front doors of the church.
And as for the reception flowers~ so much fun! We did half of the tables in a gold mercury glass compote filled with similar flowers as the bouquets, and the other half were wine bottle candelabras wrapped in burlap in a wooden crate filled with baby’s breath, rosemary and fresh lavender! They were perfect against the shell satin linens Sarah brought in.
There were mason jars filled with Juliette roses and wrapped in burlap and stacks of hay dusted gold for some shimmer. Loved! And candle light everywhere! From the candle collection surrounded by moss for the hearth to our pink mercury glass votives, there was romantic, ambient light all over!
It was one gorgeous wedding and we had a blast putting it all together. I always miss our brides after the wedding is over, but this one for sure, will be one I hold dear to my heart.
Special thanks to the lovely Anna Sawin for sharing these amazing images. She really captured the day!!!
