Happy New Year! I hope you all enjoyed a fabulous holiday season and are off to a great New Year!
We still have lots of pretty weddings to show off from the 2011 season, so let me get started with one of our last weddings of the season!
Nikki and Mark were married in November at one of our favorite venues, Saltwater Farm. It was a crisp Fall day and while trees were bare outside, there was plenty of color inside. Nikki loved the corals, magenta and orange tones and absolutely loved peonies, so we used that as our palette and we were actually able to get the coral charms for her. In November, can you believe?
While Nikki carried a beautiful white bouquet of peonies, lilacs, viburnum and garden roses, her maids carried similar flowers in all the fun colors against a backdrop of navy. I just eat these colors up and how refreshing to use these punches of color in Fall!
A nod to Fall were the clutches of hay wrapped in coral silk for the ceremony chairs. We brought the hay back into the centerpiece for their place card table.
Nikki wanted to do something different for her head table which was one long table. She saw our flowers for Alana and Justin’s wedding and really wanted a similar look to add drama and height. We loaded the table up with various pillars and votives too.
And loving that she used clean white linens for the head table and a navy runner, and all the rounds had a beautiful shell linen to complement the flowers.
Why am I still talking? Just look at these lovely images from Jocelyn Filley! Thanks so much Jocelyn for sending these my way. Just beautiful!
And thanks to Nikki and Mark for sharing your day with us! It was such a pleasure working with you and I wish you both a very happy life together!!!
A natural beauty!
So colorful and vibrant! I’m loving doing ombre shades down the aisle.
Love all the ruching on Nikki’s Monique Lhuillier dress!
The happy couple
Congratulations you two!!!
