Forgive the lack of posts lately. We are in the thick of it now, with September weddings right around the corner. It’s always our busiest month of the year, and we kick off a week early with 4 weddings this weekend. Someone just get that drip of caffeine ready for me now!!!
With September on my brain and the beginning of cooler days coming, I thought I’d post this gorgeous ombre-inspired wedding from last year. THE over the top wedding of Katie and Mike!
Katie was introduced to us by Ms. fabulous Candice of Jubilee events. Katie was a doll and I loved her enthusiasm for all things glittery and beautiful. Her entire wedding color concept came from her Cartier ring~ a swirl of gems ranging from pale pink to deep reds. And so we worked our way with that as our inspiration throughout.
Katie loved roses, so we used tons and tons of roses! We stuck to 4 distinct shades so you could see variation as we went from light to dark on just about every floral piece~ from her bouquet, the centerpieces, rose petals down the aisle and the piece du resistance: an over the top mantle display dripping with crystals and orchids!
Flowers were just the beginning, as Candice and her team created a decadent setting with lavish linens, crystal candelabras and gold accents throughout.
An extravagant, romantic affair for a sweet couple who will be celebrating their 1 year anniversary next week. Congratulations Katie and Mike!!! Thank you for sharing your beautiful day with us!
