Happy New Year! We hope you are off to a great 2016! We have been busy getting our new studio space ready for this season! We will be moving across the street to a shiny new studio at 14 Holmes Street next month!
As we continue to work away on our new location, we still have so many unbelievable weddings to share! We had an amazing 2015 season and as always, during this “quiet time” (HA!), it’s fun to go back and see them all over again!
Let’s get started with Erin and Scott’s gorgeous wedding!
Erin is a pastry chef in NYC and her business is called Sweet Pistachio Patisserie! She of course made her own desserts for their wedding, and I was lucky enough to have a sampling of the deliciousness.
Erin and Scott came to us a bit later in the game so we were already booked. When it’s a September wedding, you really need to call us almost a year in advance! It is hands down the most popular wedding month around here.
But they were so willing to do some of their own florals, so we were able to work with them. We created all of their bouquets and personal flowers, as well as ceremony decor. We also prepped all their table florals so one of their friends could do the set up that day. And he did an amazing job!!!
Erin and Scott wanted a vineyard feel to their florals~ casually arranged with a balance between flowers and greens. We used loads of eucalyptus, bay leaves, dahlias, anemones, garden roses, astrantia and blue thistle. Loved all of the combinations.
Especially loved how the bouquets turned out with their streamers of ribbons against all of the blush gowns.
Neutrals and blush tones for floral are just as popular as ever, and when you see them in images such as these, you can understand why!
Thank you Lacey Gabrielle Photography for sharing these beauties with us!
It was so lovely getting to know you Erin and Scott! Wishing you much love and sweet success in your business too!
