I met this beautiful couple the day before their wedding!!! This is more common for us than not these days, as most of our brides are not local. Tara and JJ were our Cali couple that brought a bit of the sunny state to Connecticut.
What better location than one of our favorite vineyards, Saltwater Farm?
We drew our floral inspiration from the neutral colors that are so prevalent now in the wedding industry. Earthy, muted tones of ivory, white, blush and grey.
Tara loved texture from the greenery so we used olive branches, mint, rosemary and various eucalyptus greens. Flowers were blush dahlias, blush and peach garden roses, ranunculus, a touch of feverfew and grey brunia berries.
We used one of our favorite linens this season from La Tavola, the Tuscany natural linen, which was a perfect backdrop for the flowers.
Tara and JJ had lovely personal touches in the winery. JJ and his guys actually hung the polaroid pics up right before the ceremony! And the sweetest quotes in beautiful calligraphy were displayed among every table.
Thank you Maler Photography for capturing their wedding so perfectly!
An absolute pleasure working with you Tara and JJ! I hope married life is treating you well! Wishing you much love and happiness!
